My First Koshien Experience: Watching Japan’s High School Baseball with My Son (2-Day Trip from Tokyo)
Koshien Stadium （Senshu University Matsudo Senior High School VS Hokusho High School ） On March 21, I visited Koshien Stadium with my son to watch the Spring High School Baseball Tournament. It was my first time seeing Koshien in person. I had only watched it on TV before. This trip became much more than just watching baseball — it turned into a memorable 2-day journey from Chiba to Kansai. Day 1: Traveling from Tokyo to Osaka We traveled from Tokyo to Shin-Osaka by Shinkansen. After arriving, we walked to Kunijima Station and then took a train to Nagahoribashi. From there, we walked to our hotel in Shinsaibashi. It was a simple move, but walking through the city gave us a small taste of local life in Osaka. Day 2: Koshien Stadium – A Dream Stage We checked out at 7:30 AM and headed to Koshien from Kintetsu-Nippombashi Station.
